All of our socks are entirely manufactured within the UK, using specialist skills and knitting techniques passed down through generations. To knit a sock involves several different processes, many of which are still done by hand.

Premium Yarns +

Our socks are knitted from a variety of yarns, all of which are selected for their performance.

Merino Wool – A natural fibre, Merino is breathable and will naturally keep the wearer at an ambient temperature; it can be worn comfortably in most seasons. It is exceptionally soft, lightweight, tactile, sustainable and easy to care for.

The Kingsman was a new design in our collection last season. This is a bold striking sock, knitted in conventional colours. The large diamond pattern sits boldly on the choice of Old Sage or Sunflower; each sock incorporates three different colours including Chianti and Navy in the turnover.

This men's shooting sock is knitted in a 90% super fine Merino wool and 10% nylon combination, making it beautifully soft and durable; optional garter available to complete the look.

A new design for this season, the clean lines of the Kingsman make this a bold, four-tone sock. The sock is knitted in a 90% Merino wool and 10% nylon combination, making it beautifully soft and durable.

Please Take Good Care of Your Socks...

Take them on plenty of outings
Machine wash according to the guidelines below
At the end of the season store them in a moth free environment

For your convenience most of the socks in the range are machine washable (please check individual packaging/product details).

However, please follow our simple guidelines to ensure happy socks:

Turn the socks inside out before washing
Use a 40°C wool wash programme
Use a gentle spin programme
Use wool friendly detergent - avoid biological detergents and preferably non-bio's as even these can contain bleaching agents

Returns+

We hope that any product which is purchased through The Shooting Sock Co will meet your expectations. However, if you would like to return any items we will be happy to refund or exchange the product. We operate a 28 day return & exchange policy. For more information please see our Returns page.

All returns must be in their original condition with the labels attached and in the original packaging. Goods which are not returned in a saleable condition may be refused a refund or exchange.

We expect you to have kept the original packaging (including the postal box/bag) together with all labels. All products must be packaged in a protective outer.
